Buck Owens

Buck Owens: was an American singer, guitarist and television personality who had 21 No. 1 hits on the Billboard country music charts with his band, the Buckaroos. They pioneered what came to be called the Bakersfield sound, a reference to Bakersfield, Calif., the city Owens called home and from which he drew inspiration for what he preferred to call American music. Buck Owens is also known for his role as a co-host with Roy Clark on the popular TV series Hee Haw.

Here he performs at his own bronze-induction concert, Legends in Bronze. The high-definition concert was shot in font of 7,000 fans. Legends in Bronze paid tribute to ten country music and rockabilly stars with bronze statues cast by sculptor Bill Rains at the expense of Buck Owens himself.
